Solar forecast
What is the sun worth this week?
Seven days of expected watt-hours for your panels, and where your battery lands each night. Flip to month by month for the long view.
How the math works
- Open-Meteo reports daily shortwave radiation in megajoules per square meter. Divided by 3.6, that is peak sun hours on a flat panel.
- Expected watt-hours =
panel watts × sun hours × 0.75, the efficiency from the Megawatt solar calculator. - Battery charge each night = yesterday's charge plus what the panels made, minus your daily use, kept between empty and full. It is bookkeeping, not a shunt reading.
