How long will my coffee maker run?

How the math works
  • Hours = battery Wh × usable share ÷ load watts.
  • The usable share is yours to set. Your battery maker's spec sheet tells you how deep it is happy to go.
  • The gadget watts are starting guesses. The real number is on the sticker or the plug, and it wins every time.
  • Running a 120V gadget through an inverter costs a little extra. If you want that in the math, nudge the usable share down.

Added in this rebuild. Same 0.75 system efficiency as the original Megawatt solar and battery tools where it applies. This is a planning tool. Have a qualified electrician check anything you wire.
